FEATURED DESIGNER AT CONCRETE POLISH

Linda Smyth has been creating jewelry for 10 years now. It all started with self -adornment and the love of body art and over the years transformed into a more wearable, whimsical way of life.
Fleathers was developed 7 years ago. Originally inspired by birds, flowers, tropical and aquatic worlds. These days color combinations explode from day to day experiences. The material itself has such a vast selection of color, pattern and texture, working with leather has been taken to the next level here with the variety of shapes and colors ways with in this special jewelry form. Linda recently started to incorporate feathers into the line and hand dyes beautiful rooster feathers to compliment the leathers. Though the line is known for it’s wide selection of earrings there are also necklaces, bangles and a line of pouches.

The Rabidfox line began 5 years ago, Linda’s other line of jewelry is a series of cast rings made up of various creatures from the animal kingdom. Rabidfox was spawned from the love of beastly creatures and all small things endeared; originally worked from toys, Rabidfox takes a playful spoof off of mass produced items then transformed into precious metal, wearable objects and friends.
Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Linda has lived in Philly for eleven years. As well as designing jewelry, she also owned Topstitch Boutique, a fabulous vintage and handmade shop for women, located in Old City, Philadelphia. When she's not making jewelry, she's scavenging for vintage treasures and new indie designers to fill the shop
.Rabid Fox and Fleathers are available at Concrete Polish Showroom or on her online store Fleathers.etsy.com
